What is the official source of information about ship departure dates and planned routes?

My SA build 335 is completing now (Status 155).

I am not sure if I'm doing this correctly. But here is what I think I found.

This link http://www.molroro.com/MOLVesselSchedule.aspx gets you a schedule, if you put in Durban and Long Beach it seems to me the next one out (Serenity Ace voyage 0035A) leaves Dec. 22. It is scheduled to arrive in Long Beach on February 13th.

Once the car is with the freight shipper you can put the VIN in on the "track and trace" here http://www.2wglobal.com/www/wep/index.jsp to confirm the ship etc.

I have yet to determine why (I think) some cars get offloaded in Bremerhaven and others don't. Of course I am hoping dearly my car does not - apparently this adds a couple of weeks. I've seen posts with SA build cars sitting in Germany mid-transit for about a month.

Can someone explain why this happens? Is it just about the bookings available on that outbound ship? It seems unloading a car from a ship going to the ultimate destination is not a great idea (well not great if its your car anyway).
