My last commute was 30 miles each way through Boston's worst - from north of Boston to south of Dedham. It was stop and go about 60-80% of the way and I still wouldn't trade the shifting for an automatic (especially in the snow.) Seemed like I had an advantage at jumping in and out of tight spots in heavy traffic, and getting ahead of the next guy. I don't mind the clutchwork at all!
