Well, I went through this discussion 2 weeks ago when the thread was 328 vs ATS & I was jumped in immediately . I won't repeat everything that I said, but I will stand by the fact that if you have not driven the new ATS then you shouldn't even comment. Looks are subjective, but the handling is spot on, its tight and all around a
very good car. I still don't think it is better then the 3 series , but I'd take it before the Mercedes. To me the
only thing that let the car down is the transmission. I drove all the the versions of the ATS for an extended period of time. The last thread someone said "nobody would EVER cross shop a BMW & a Caddy" Well I'm here to tell you I own multiple 3 series(E46,e92,E92 M3 & I'm currently waiting on the 4 to come out,,,,I like coupes) and I have a CTS sitting in my garage and I'm seriously considering an ATS , but I never buy a 1st year car ,,& like I said,,I like coupes........BUt screw what the a$$ in the video says...drive what you want
