Anything over $7,000, it's out of your own pocket. The package is $1,500.
When I ordered my F30, I was told it covers up to $7,500 (with no single repair costing over $1000) and the package costs $1,159.
It might've been $7,500 in damages. But I wasn't told about no single damage can't exceed $1,000. I was told if you bought it, any damage that is done so long as it doesn't exceed the $7,500 your covered. As for the price, I was told it was $1,500.... Maybe my dealer was being shady haha. Either way, I didn't get the package. I got the tire protection one instead, those run flats are bloody expensive
