I paid $79.99 at mile 1500 to change out the original oil.

I'm purchasing the car...(over 6 years), so would like to keep it for 8 years total (average age I keep my cars when I purchase), so engine health is a priority for me.

But agreed, more of something I'd do to appease myself than anything else...engine oil has technologically advanced leaps and bounds...
