Just the usual tips: - never select code default values
- do not select "code" after selecting svt folder at top of tree
- stick to known coding to start
- cheat sheets are chassis specific but coding is hardware specific; the ladder goes for Ecu's as well as hardware like headlights
- know the difference between fdl- and vo-coding and how to reset back to factory
- figure out whatever system works for you to keep track of changes
- run engine while coding (except for dme/dde which you should not be touching anyways) to ensure adequate voltage
