I came from a line a hot hatches the last being a modifed Megane R26 pushing circa 300bhp. I drive in a more sedate manner these days and a 320d suits my needs nicely and saves me a fair chunk on running costs which is important as i have a new addition to the family. Still has plenty ample pace for me if i need to press on (although not a much the the meg). If i really wanted to still have the occasional blast i would have got the 330d but couldn't justify the additional outlay for that privilage.
