My 640DM Sport with 6 speed auto gave 38MPG, this 35D M Sport x3 gives 37MPG, the new 3 series Touring is 255Kg lighter and so should be cheaper to run with a low drag coefficient , the F30 M Sport has also been lowered suspension wise so that may help.
