I have a love hate relationship with runflats. They saved my bacon when I had a screw through a tire, being able to finish my day before sorting it out is a massive plus.
On the other hand, the sidewalls just steal so much feedback, enough that I have to check my inflation pressures every 4 weeks, because I can't tell if a tire is low! Even in the GTI I can feel it when a tire is low.
