I agree. If it has 4 (or 5) doors it should be a 3. If it has 2 doors, it should be a 4. It's too confusing. Only those who care about marketer hair-splitting would distinguish between a standard 3 series 4-door sedan, and a "grand coupe," which is not a coupe at all but a 4-door sedan with a lower roofline.
I guess the marketers have finally read Orwell.
