First off, I urge anyone who frequents a forum like this to join the BMW CCA and go to a spring or fall performance driving school. Then you can begin to push your car to its limits in a safe and controlled environment.

Personally, I took my E90 328i to High Plains Raceway outside of Denver and, while I pushed that car as hard as it could go, I was getting crushed by 335's as well as M3's and M5's. I cannot WAIT to get my new 335 xdrive out there.

I think anyone who comes on these forums can be considered an enthusiast, but there will always be superficial rich assholes who buy a 335 over a 328 because it is a "higher number" and therefor better. Ignore these people...they give the rest of us a bad image.

Back to the main topic. Here in Colorado, I believe there are many people who either get an M3 or consider it strongly, only to eventually come back to the 335. It is the best of both worlds. It is more fuel efficient than the M3 by far and is available in xdrive so it can be a daily driver all year long. It also still offers considerable power over the 328.

In this sense, I am the perfect target demographic and I couldn't be happier!
