Because racecar?!
It looks ok but it wouldn't be my first choice. Personally I find silver wheels on black cars nice.
On a different note, I think plastidip and other DIY coatings are great. Nothing wrong with trying stuff but spend some time, you bought /in part/ for BMW for craftsmanship I hope. I would try to keep it that way, Masking tape and basic painting supplies are cheap and they certainly make your work look more professional.
