Excuse my ignorance but what's behind your preference for fabric or leatherette over leather? I'm currently considering a 328 with leather and I've only ever driven Honda's with fabric/cloth seats. I'm surprised by your preference since leather is considered "luxury" and I'm curious why. Maybe you can convince me to save $1.5k by not getting leather
