Yep bmw crimp connectors are solderless, BMW actually recommends the use of them to repair damaged wiring over soldering as the wires can be overheated and cause insulation damage and subsequent possibility of fire.
There is parts of the BMW harness or even sub harnesses that are difficult to replace, main wire loom being one, engine harness its way easier to repair the harness as opposed to removing all the interior/engine accessories. BMW overall doesn't have too many connectors linking the subharnesses and the ones that are there appear to be there to ease assembly. For example the engine harness is treated as part of the engine assembly which is rolled as a complete unit during the assembly and connected to the main loom.
OP This should be a non-issue, your car will be fine
I had this happen on my M3 when a branch sitting in the middle of the highway took off Post cat O2 connector and ripped up the harness. It was a 10minute job to repair it.
