I am really pleased with BMW's goal of continuous improvement, even for things like this. I never had an "automatic sensor-controlled anti-fogging function" before my current car, and I love it! It works like a charm. Especially since I use it everyday in winter in cold-weathered Canada.
It looks like they pay a lot of attention to detail and they enjoy working on these things as well. Kudos.
EDITED to add: I have had no problems with my air conditioner either. Cools quickly.
