I'm not so sure that larger wheels improve the look. I actually bought my car (used) with 17" wheels and sold them to get some classic Euroweaves and some new Ronal LS--both beautiful wheels. And the unsprung weight of larger wheels would not be an advantage either. (I suppose I could get some light weight larger wheels.) No doubt I could get better tires with larger wheels, though.
