They raised the side hip lines so there is less glass surface and it is kind of optical illusion to make the car look sleeker but it is not. Funny but it dies look fat compared to E92 (which was already too fat).
I see lots of similarities to 3 series, why even bother naming it 4 series or only for a sake of putting that number 4 in use.
