dipped mirror when reversing

The manual describes the mirror dipping when you reverse the car, but mine doesn't seem to. Are there certain extras needed (such as folding mirrors) for it to work?

320d sport, manual.

Do you have the selector switch set to the driver side? On mine it only dips the passenger mirror when this switch is set to the driver side.

Make sure the mirror switch is positioned on the left side mirror. If you have it positioned on the right, it will keep the mirror locked up when in reverse.

What they said, pretty much the same with all BMWs that have this feature

Send a message via AIM to mfear
