The F30 does require the use of higher offsets in the rear. The setup that is recommended is the 19x8.5 ET35-40 with a 245/40/19 up front and the 19x9.5 ET40-45 with a 275/35/19 in the rear. Here are a few pictures of my customers F30 328i for you to check out!

Here are some shots of our F30 335i on BBS CH with Bridgestone RE-11. The RE-11 tends to run pretty wide and has a square shoulder on it so we went safe on the sizing for a good street setup

BBS CH
19x8.5 +35 on 225/35/19
room to go up to 245 looks like depending on the tire. Up to a +30 offset or so looks to fit no problem as well with a 225 or 235 tire.

19x9.5 +40 on 255/35/19
room to go up to 265 looks like depending on the tire
