I've seen one at the dealer showroom but not one on the street as of yet. There's a lot more F30 328i's out there now a days though.

Ok thanks I read somewhere that on the technical plan the both engines are the same. I wonder of you can tune them to the same output.

I got my 320i Auto two weeks ago. It has 394 rims, rear park distance and Harmon Kardon. I traded my F20 118i and I must say the 1 series was more sporty and had better acceleration. I am actually disappointed in the 320i.
In South Africa we get leather, multifunction steering, Bluetooth, USB, I drive standard.

If the C250 was underwhelming, I wonder how the 320i fares.

It's getting a bit better now that it has 2000 KMS on the clock. I also suspect the first tank was 93 octane because I could hear a faint knock. Overall I am very happy with the quietness and smoothness. Fuel consumption now is 7.7 l/ 100km with mixed driving.

yeah once it hits 2000km it is very smooth. At around 1800km i started running it on gear set to DS and everything else set to sport. Revs are smooth all the way to 7K and the shifts are flawless on the 8sp. Very happy! The car is quiet ruff below 1200k, but once u put the km's on it then she's worn in well.

I have just taken over lease on 2012 320i with PDC, Navi, Premium and Lighting package. The person has paid $3500 down ($5,200 upfront when taking out the car out of the lot) and willing to give me $4,250 cash incentives (including the $1095 lease transfer fees). The person has paid 2 months lease already and only 700kms on the car. Is this a good deal? Payment per month is $650ish (including tire warranty and excess wear and tear as well as tax and 20k limit per year) for 46 more months...

Any difference on the 320i vs 328i in terms of engine and transmission or mechanically?
Want to know which one will be the more tunable car.
