I got them on. they look amazing but are sooo bright. are there any kits that arent so blindingly bright. They look phenominal once warmed up.

Im hoping that because they are so low to the ground that maybe they arent blinding. Ill test it out with a friend. color is even brighter than the oem xenons. would a lower kelvin look closer to the xenons? thanks

Morimoto Elite Systems 5k FTW anything more you start to lose lumens and the detail on the road etc.
I would recommend nothing short of this company. HID's, this is what they do, day in and day out, nothing else. Me personally, I use companies that specialize on one thing so I know they are focused on what I need. Tons of cool stuff on the website for complete retrofits to kits. My profession has me working with this type of lamp system on a much larger scale (upwards of 15000 watts) so I understand the entire premise behind it. Components are key here if you want to do it right, and for automotive aftermarket I have found nobody that does it as well as these guys. Either way read about Morimoto on google, you'll see the reviews are tops and they come with a 5 year warranty to boot..... Have fun..... Last edited by 2k15f30; 10-04-2012 at 10:35 AM. |

Hi Everyone,
Newbie here... got my F30 328i a couple weeks ago, and I regret not to have taken the Xenon lights... I had no idea my lights were going to look like they do. Anyway... if I understand well, HID are new lights that are brighter and look almost like Xenons? Why isn't it just a bulb but has a kit and components with it? Since I'm leasing my car... is it safe to do this change and take it back at the end of the lease? Any other info would be great! Thanks a lot! |

you can do the change, and save your oem bulb. and once your lease is done take out your hid kit and put the oem bulb back in. they will never know. nor check. unless its broken.

not at this time. but maybe in a week i will know. finding the oem bulb was very hard since no bmw dealer stocks them nor knew the part number and every online diagram was wrong. But I finally figured it out.
