M sport metal foot plate
Are all the msport cars getting the msport metal plate as in the left side of the picture on the BMW configurator? I notice some of the cars have them but the majority don't. When my dealer sold me the car he mentioned it but If you don't have them what are BMW saying?

The pictures in the link you posted are M Performance parts, not M Sport parts.
EDIT: Where the links gone? Personally I hope my M Sport doesn't come with that tat Last edited by NISFAN; 10-15-2012 at 02:24 PM.. |

Well you should ask where it is? If you look on the configurator it clearly shows it. Westerly Exeter had a f30 eb 2 demo msport in when I ordered my f31 and it had the plate on it and I was told it came as standard.

I know they are all left hand drive but look on uk configurator it quite clearly shows it on m sport, and I sat in one in Exeter BMW and it was in that and was told it was standard. We are all paying a lot of money and I don't want us to be sold short!

The M Sport option features a new aerodynamic package including numerous body components and the BMW Individual High-gloss Shadowline trim. The optional exterior paint shade of Estoril Blue metallic sets the model further apart, as do the 18-inch or 19-inch M alloy wheels. Inside, features such as the M door sill finishers, an M leather steering wheel and an M driver’s footrest create the right sporting ambience, while the M Short-gearstick (in models with a manual transmission), M Sport suspension and the optional M Sport brakes with contrasting blue paint finish define the model from a technical perspective. Dakota leather covers the interior including the front sports seats, while trim elements in Aluminium Hexagon with accent strips in either Estoril Blue matt or high-gloss black add the finishing touch.
This is taken from uk press release I found |

I am thinking like my old scooby - it had really cool metal pedals with rubber grippy bits on them (pic i just found on google, ignore the rest of the dodgy interior!)
