Anyone used this mounting system in an F30 yet?

If so, any good?

Photos as promised.

The power cable is left in the glove box until required to avoid it looking even more messy - and the sat nav doesn't stay there!

Depending on how you take the photo it can appear that the sat nav will block the idrive screen but from the driver position it does not.

Gareth - thanks for the photos

Do you think it would fit further left - i.e. clear or nearly clear of the vent ?

I think that is about its limit - I wouldn't want to chance it anymore - very snug fit and I didn't even peel off the sticky pad!

To be honest,,, any further away and it would be a distraction having to look over!

Heard good things about the Brodit clips how ever decided to give this Tetrax Magnetic clip a go. Really pleased with it very secure and discrete no big boxy holders. Take a look here:
