Yup. a 5Dc is definitely what I am going to get this winter. I want FF more than I want a video feature on my camera I never use.

Maybe an awesome deal will pop up on a 5D2 that I pull the trigger on while I'm looking.

Lol that won't happen, my luck is not good like that.

Can you teach us how you create the "mood" in your picture? I use Lightroom myself but you have some pretty nice presets!

The "mood" you're speaking about is more so due to the lighting and location he's shots are taken. His lighting is excellent and he picks his shots with minor post processing.

In that case, I'd like to see a pic that's straight out of the camera vs. the final products. Hoping to learn something here on how to make my own pictures better.

I don't use LR, never could get used to the workflow so I keep it all in PS, but what I do can be done in LR.

Yeah, light is a huge deal, more important than location, and more important than composition in some cases. I only work with natural or available light though, once you learn how to really use the sun to your advantage it's the best light source there is.

Thought I would update this thread with some news. Finally upgrading to a 5D2 tomorrow. I really cannot wait, and this should mean that I can finally really get into portraiture, which will mean that no matter where I am I can keep this thread updated with new work, rather than waiting on cars I want to shoot to come around.
