Sigh.. Will not be able to make it out this time around. I'll be on the lookout for the next session if you guys end up planning one. Thanks for coordinating all this!

Still nothing on getting the sports display working on non-nav cars and no progress on HUD turn signals. |

Thanks for trying... I have to take it in for service and hopefully it will be fixed for the next session. It was great meeting everyone.

I asked around about your problem and no one had seen that before. The consensus is that the OBD-II port or the wiring to the ECU is bad. Ask the dealer to program ASS memory and they *should* run into the same issue and fix it. Good Luck! |

great to meet everyone. at least we can put names and faces together. oh yeah, i just realized that my pass side mirror does not go down when shifting on reverse. i wonder if it is a feature that was never added in or can be coded. maybe next time.

It's in the manual. No coding necessary for this one! |

hey frogman,
yes my selector is actually moved to the driver's side and it doesn't work. i have a '13 x3 25i with m-sport and it works there. with my f30, it doesn't. Really strange. However, my f30 does not have any options whatsoever. Probably it had to come with the folding mirrors for the f30? |

Did it ever work on your F30? Have you tried moving the switch between driver and passenger a few times and then leave it on the driver position? Can you adjust the mirrors? I'd ask the dealer next time you are there to see if it's supposed to work on your car or not. |

that's the thing. it never dawned on my because a few days after i got the car, i sent it back to them to have the ASS disabled and they kept it for a week waiting for approval or something. maybe i will ask them as i need to have them work on something else. yes, the mirrors work. i just have to manually bring it down so i can see the curb. i'll still see you guys next time. i also realized i can probably have tpms pressure enabled. i dont know if we can bring the windows up and down using the remote on my particular car. sucks that a honda accord does that coming straight from the factory.

It's the switch that switches between driver and passenger side mirrors. you have the move the switch to the passenger side for it to work. I had a Honda before too and the switch always needs to stay on the passenger side in order to have the mirrors go down when in reverse

Hey TreDirtyFive!
I saw the Profile message you sent me, but I can't send forum messages until later this month. Send me e-mail here: frogmanf30@gmail.com if you want to code your car. |
