Question 335i Right Exhaust More Black and Dirty then left, Normal?

I know theres a flap in the left side so is that the reason why the right is dirtier? Is it suppose to be that dirty? Car has about 250 miles on it.

RIGHT

I just started the car for a bout 2 mins than turned it off before taking this pictures, So thats why i think the water is there, from the steam/smoke. Normal?

LEFT

BOTH

This is my first BMW... lol

THANKS!

My friend said maybe my car is missing a cat... I told him no way its brand new. Any possibility its a mad cat already?

You already answered your own question. There is an exhaust valve that cuts off flow to the driver's side pipe, until the car is warmed up and/or there is appropriate throttle response.

Is there a technical reason for this? Slap me if it's been gone over 100 times...

Oh boy.. Here we go..
Okay the little flap opens up when the throttle is wide open. AKA drive like an insane old lady and you might find yourself with both tips covered in soot. Basically i can tell how hard you drive by looking at your tips... no pun intended.

To take care of this issue, don't baby your bummer. Drive hard, and your left pipe will be as dirty as your right one.

On the E90 the flapper was opened by vacuum (thus golf-tee mod). The F30 uses an electrical flapper. Easiest thing to do is take out the spring that connects the flapper to the servo motor and use some heavy baling wire to keep the flapper open. Car will sound better too.

I've done the mod on mt E90 and F30 and there's no issues with my dealer. It's not a permanent modification to the car. They actually like the way it sounds more when I pull it into the service center.
