True but that is for the 2012 if you look on both pdfs it's simply not mentioned for the 335i sedan. In the pdf that has the prices you normally would see something like STD or NC for the Sport line below 335i but the column is simply blank like you cannot select the options or they don't apply. The pdf that describes the packages and options doesn't mention at all the Sport Line for 335i just Modern and Luxury...

Loki69, if you look in the order guide for the 335i Sport line is listed as standard with Modern & Luxury as Lines. Now, go to ActiveHybrid. Modern is listed as standard while Luxury and Sport are the lines. Switch over to the Pricing guide and Sport and Modern are blank for the 335i and ActiveHybrid respectively.

Thank you bobblehead! I see that the base price hasn't changed at all.

One thing I am still puzzled is that even the M Sport package doesn't come with the sport suspension as standard equipment. But the M Adaptive suspension is only 100 bucks more and this makes it a good value option for me (when I need to shuttle my baby around).

The only thing I wish BMW Canada has done is to split up the premium package, or at least offer some of the items as standalone options...

This is typical way of doing things with BMWCA, split most popular options into different packages and add stuff you don't care around it. forcing you to take all the packages. The other option is special order, but once you add the 400$ extra charge, it's almost the same price as taking the package.

Yup, very disappointing. But then I really don't need anything from the premium package honestly. I may desire some of them, but I certain can live without any of it. Thus I am not going to pay for that and BMW CA will end up losing out in the end.

However, there are things I do want and need that are simply not available in Canada, like the rear sun shades...

Spoke to my SA @ BMW Laval today, he told me they were able to special order a 328 with Msport package. Can any one else confirm this?

Yes, I can confirm. BMW Laval told me the same thing. I was the one originally inquiring - I wanted to special order M Sport & 2TB but they want to charge me $400 ZSP fee twice... I don't get it.

ZSP should only be charged once...

They told me it would be charged once per non-standard option...

I have a few questions regarding ZSP (special order) and the 328i. I thankfully see that BMW Canada is finally allowing the 328i to be ordered with the M Sport Package. I have decided that if I purchase a new 328i that it must have the following:

M Sport Package $2,300
2PP 18" M light alloy wheels Star-spoke style 400 M (square setup)
(18x8.0, 225/45 R18) x4
337 M Sport Package
481 Sport Seats
4DL Trim highlight High-Gloss Black
4MR Aluminum Hexagon Trim
710 M Leather Steering Wheel
715 M Aerodynamics Package
760 High-Gloss Shadow Line
775 Anthracite Roofliner
840 Increased top speed limiter
LCSW Black Dakota Leather

Options:
248 Heated Steering Wheel $250
2NH M Sport Brakes $350
2VF Adaptive M Suspension $500
2VL Variable Sport Steering $350
ZMA 6-Speed Manual Transmission $0

Can 2PP be ordered with ZPT (Summer Performance tires) tires rather than ZAS (All Seasons)?

Can individual items only found in ZEE (executive package) and ZLW (premium package) be ordered seperately?

If so, do you know prices for individual options?

I only want 302 (alarm system), 465 (through loading system) and 488 (lumbar support) and think that $5712 ($3,500 ZLW + $1,600 ZEE + $612 tax) is more than I am willing to pay to get them.

thanks for helping.

On thing is sure, you cannot get heated steering wheel since the Msport steering is different and does not have the heated function.

For tires, you should arrange that with the dealer directly.
Individual options prices, don t know...

A heated steering wheel can be chosen individually for the F30 M Sport on the BMW UK configurator for $155gbp and on BMW USA it can be added to M Sport Packages by selecting the ZCW Cold Weather Package $900usd for front and rear heated seats, heated steering wheel and headlight washers.

Anyone put a 328i M Sport order in yet and had it accepted by BMW CA?

Also, I've been reading conflicting reports on when the upgraded 609 navigation system will be available for Canada on the 328i and 335i. I've read that it is supposed to be in all F30's worldwide starting with November builds, but I read somewhere else on this board that Canada would not be getting it for the 2013 model year. The new system is supposed to be a major upgrade in processing power, memory, video etc.

is this in Toronto?

I am interested in a similar equipped car with 19 inch wheels and no premium/executive package. To add the Msport, do you need to add sport line first

It's mentioned earlier in this thread that it is a dealer in Laval that said that they could now order the 328i with M Sport package by doing a ZSP (special order). The prices I had posted earlier were from the 335 M Sport which I believe has the Sport Package standard; it is $1500 on the 328 I think. The other prices listed were also for the 335i. I would think that the Variable streering and the M Adaptive suspension options would be no more for the 328i. The M Sport brakes are a trickier issue to figure out. Here is all of the info I could find on the M Sport brakes for the 328i for North America.

2NH M Sport Brakes - $350 Cdn, available exclusively with the M Sport Package on the 335i Sedan models. This performance kit offers oversize brakes (front and rear) for increased performance as well as brake callipers painted in blue with M badge, adding to the sporty design elements of the M Sport Package.

Front:
• 4-piston aluminum fixed-calliper brake 18", lightweight brake discs
with interior ventilation and aluminum brake bowl
• Brake callipers painted (blue), with M badge
Rear:
• 2-piston aluminum fixed-calliper brake 18", lightweight brake discs
with interior ventilation and aluminum brake bowl
• Brake callipers painted (blue), with M badge

(In standard form the 328i has single piston floating calipers on all four wheels. 335i gets upgraded to 4 piston fixed caliper up front and single piston floating caliper in the rear.
F30 328i - F 12.3" / R 11.8" | M Sport - F 13.4" / R 13.6"
F30 335i - F 13.4 / TBD | M Sport F 14.6" / 13.6")

To put it simply, for EU/ROW spec, M-sport brakes (i.e. option code 2NH, factory-fitted option ONLY AVAILABLE for cars with M-sport package) are IDENTICAL to M-performance brakes (i.e. dealer fit item from M-performance range), WITH 2 EXCEPTIONS: 1.) colour coded in blue instead of a choice of 4 colours for the M-performance version, & 2.) plain rotors instead of the slotted & grooved discs that come with the M-performance version. The discs are interchangeable between the 2 types of brakes as they are of the same size & same caliper design. This applies to all models of the F30 range w/M-package, from the lowly 316d to 335i.
Now, for US/CDN-spec, there are 2 types of M-sport brakes for M-sport package equipped cars. For 335i M-sport, if option 2NH is specified, it will be the same as EU/ROW-spec (i.e. identical system to M-performance brakes but in blue & plain rotors). For 328i M-sport, option 2NH means brake system from standard 335i (but with EU/ROW pads), only difference is the calipers are in blue w/M logo instead of the unpainted silver. So in a nutshell, US/CDN 335i M-sport w/2NH, then similar to M-performance; for US/CDN 328i M-sport w/2NH, then similar to standard 335i but with EU/ROW pads

edit: found on Real Oem that the 328i rear calipers are the same as the 335i for the M Sport brake option in US (and Canada?)

I don't know if they will make the 19" wheels available for the 328i M Sport in Canada; I don't think they do in the U.S.

BUMP! Has anyone in Canada taken possession of an 328i M-Sport through the special order program yet?

The fact that this car is not being offer with the M-Sport package is very disappointing. What is even more disappointing is the fact that I was willing to pay for the SPACIAL ORDER to get the car the way I wanted. I am saddened and anger with BMW Canada for making buying the BMW car such unpleasant experience. I always though buying my first BMW would be exciting and fun but I was clearly mistaken. I feel that yet again I am being punished to be Canadian since one can buy 328i with M-sport package in US without any restrictions. That said BMW Canada has invested significant efforts to limit importing cars from US by Canadians as it diminishes the Canadian Sales. Fortunately, where there is a will there is a way and I am intending to exercise my right and purchase the BMW 328i with the M-sport package in US market. There will never be a day that I will allow BMW Canada to dictate what I can or can not buy especially if I am willing to pay extra. Further to that I am intending to voice my disappointment with BMW Canada treatment of Canadian customers (there is many as you know) in provide as much information on forms etc. ,which I hope will make it easer for others to purchase the 328i M-sport in US. Every lost sale to BMW Canada is victory to me for such tasteless and classless move.
Regards
I think this is very well said and I feel the exact same way.

I'd be interested to know how your US purchase goes and what you need to do to make it happen, because if I can buy a car from a US dealership and pay the same amount, I'd absolutely do it.

You're right, BMW Canada wants to dictate what we can and cannot buy, and then tries to restrict our ability to shop elsewhere. Not exactly free competition from the consumer's perspective. Not to mention that 2 hours away form most of us is an American BMW dealership where cars are $6000+ cheaper in base price.

Please keep this thread up to date with what you do, or PM me.

Thanks.
