This doc outlines plans for releasing an F31 335i Touring variant. I am thinking this document is only accurate for European buyers. If a 335i Touring is coming to the states Spring 2013 then I'm cancelling my order for my 335i msport.
Anyone have any supporting evidence of a F31 335i coming to the states? |

Seems very unlikely the US will get an F31 335i. F31 is already gonna be a looooow volume module, so the price of homologation for another engine variant is a very high incremental cost. |

Yes this is a Euro market document but there are some europe-based customers on this board.
As far as I'm concerned I'm very interested in whatever updates will be made to the 2014 3 series in the US. Is it worth the wait? |

Love it. Euro 1 series gets new Pro Nav while BMWNA continues to jerk around US/CA F30 buyers. And X3's made in South Carolina for Europe will also get it while US/CA based X3's will not (at least until MY14).

Oh, the Diesels will be a big MY14 push but diesel is still a specific use case for most US buyers. |

It is almost certainty that F25 X3 will switch to MY2014 with March 2013 production, and all of them worldwide will have the NBT Navigation.

Don't expect much. NA has their lips sewn shut.
If you keep your eyes peeled you'll likely see something. I saw an X4 in disguise going out to the proving track. They also have/had a prototype M5 (no big deal anymore) one of the track drivers was using as his pace car. He took my friend for a quick lap in it. |

Interesting that the 335 Touring is listed at 306hp.....as opposed to 300hp for the sedan.
...even though we know these numbers are underrated, but to list 306 exactly. Who knows their logic.

BMW UK uses the European metric HP number when describing their cars. You can clearly see 306hp listed here for the 335i saloon, on their UK site: http://www.bmw.co.uk/en/new-vehicles...ical-data.html |
