Mod Prices Australia
Hi, I just wanted to make a topic on the prices for Australian mods, just so everyone can get the idea. Like myself, many people here probably hate talking to the dealer for prices etc etc)
Hope people here can refer to it, and add some prices of their own.
Parts Total: $3745.55 Fitting+Painting: $1852.40 Total: $5597.95
Interior trim: (thanks CKau)
I will add prices as I go, hope this helps ![]()

Enquired with bmw spare parts about cost of anthracite wood trim as I don't like the standard burled walnut. Just the side rear is $240 a piece and idrive section is $640. Didn't get quotes for the front facia nor front doors as no one has ordered that yet.
Looks like factory is way cheaper but not offered on no line. Paying for modern or luxury line might have been worth it in hindsight but it was outside my budget.

Sounds awfully cheap, especially given the cost price of the product. I'd be worried that I wasn't getting a full or proper treatment for that price, and if you did manage it for that I'd certainly want to register the warranty card that it comes with.
The $549 quoted above sounds right. |

Absolutely no reason whatsoever for such a price on a new BMW. Besides, I understand Opti-Coat's guide pricing is $545.00.
http://www.optimumcarcare.com.au/con...d_pricing.html 3 coats on a new car? Seriously? My car had 2 snow foam cleans, it's dealer glaze machined off, clayed, washed, dried and 2 coats of Hard body applied for $500.00. Of course if your price is for a well driven car, then sure, it could easily cost $1400 or more, depending on how much detail & correction is required. Maybe that's why 3 coats have been recommended. Not for a new car.

WOW - I might call them to confirm pricing but seems too good to be true.

the Virginia quote was pretty correct - $320 they quoted me.
Said they are newly authorised to apply Opticoat so are trying to drum up business....

I agree, applying the coating is only part of the job, they need to do a full buff and remove any swirls and sometimes do some paint correction and that is more important than the coating itself.
