When are the February allocations assigned

Can anyone tell me when dealers will get their February allocations? Specifically for the F30s (not sure if the allocations are staggered for the various model lines).

I'm probably in the same boat as some of the others that are in search of a 2013 335i. Put a deposit down on 1/2/13 to lock in holiday rates but the deal depends on my dealer being able to obtain a RWD 335i build slot (must take delivery by 3/2/13). They are hoping to have a slot available in their February allocations but I haven't been able to get a firm answer from them as to when BMWUSA actually assigns the next months allocations.

Hm...i think the possibility of being able to take delivery by 3/2/13 is very low even if you can get an allocation right now.

I am in Canada and finally got a build date of Feb 10th week last week. I ordered it 3Rd week of Dec. Not sure of it would be the same in the states.

Agreed, it is a long shot to get delivery by 3/2. However, I'm more concerned with when the February allocations were actually made available to dealers. My hopes are that I can still pursue a discount to some extent, the compensation would have to come from the dealer versus BMWNA.

For what it's worth, I've also been told that BMW can be flexible with their credits. If a car was made in late Feb and is on the water in transit, it arrives a couple days late, BMWNA may still honor the credits.

They already have their February allocations. You should ask your dealer.

I guess "February allocations" here means allocations that are scheduled to be manufactured in February?
I guess the new allocations, that the dealers will get in February, are actually scheduled to be manufactured in March or later, right?

Yeah, that sounds about right. The dealer should have 4-5+ weeks of allocation (from the current date) at any given time.

Where I live in Europe the dealers get their allocations two months in advance, but it might be different in different regions of course.
