My first rattle-free car
I'm pleased to report my 335i is rattle free (yes, all panels, including the sunroof). Our motorways are smooth but our highways use very course chip on them and most cars rattle to some degree, well my new 335i is rattle free - the first of any new car I have owned to not require rattle removal by the dealer.
The road we live on is concrete laid in about 1920 so very very firm -- not even one single rattle or squeak noise from the car when travelling along this road either. I'm very pleased, and somewhat surprised. What's everyone else's rattle experiences been like?

Mine is rattle-free as well, and we have shocking roads round here! I'm very, very picky about rattles and noises; all of my other cars - except my E92 335d - had several rattles by this point (1k miles in), but not the F30; you can tell and feel that it's so solid and so well put together!

Mine squeaks (over minor road bumps), whines (a very high frequency sound - probably some kind of RF interference) , screeches (the brakes), buzzes (from the front dash under high acceleration) and click-clicks (under medium to high torque in high gears - sound most likely from the engine).
It is all intermittent and still waiting to understand a pattern before I take it to the dealer. |

I had a slight rattle from the sunroof cover area when I first got it but it went away and 1 year in I am rattle-free, in fact as I had one of the earliest models it has been exceptionally reliable 1st year.
