It is interesting that they changed the front end and eliminated the bull nose. I know there has been much discussion about the f30 front end but I like it, makes the f30 look very aggressive and sporty, the gt by comparison looks like a 5 series, which isn't bad but just isn't a 3. I guess that coincides with the additional 8 inches in length, again screams 5 series 4 door coupe.

I would spend my money on the touring but I think that sexy sedan looks best.

Based on looks: Sedan, GT, Wagon
Based on utility: Wagon, GT, Sedan first and foremost, I'm a coupe person more than a 4-door person. If I'm not buying a coupe, the buying decision for me comes down to fitness for the uses I have for the car, flexibility and overall utility and ease of use, in that order. So in the end, of the three cars in this thread, the one I could get the best deal on is the one of these three I'd buy, but that good deal would have to be significant enough to move me off of the 4 series and off the X1, (and to a lesser extent the 6er coupe -- the real coupe, not the GC), which are the two of BMW's reasonably priced offerings I'm considering right now as my next purchase.

Why???
Why do we need this stupid, unpractical, expensive ugly car? Why would they make another when the 5GT sales have been disapointingly low? And, why must BMW follow other makes and build cars for every single possible market, and than build cars for markets that dont exist between the existing ones?

I have seen MANY 3er GT prototypes over the last two years. They really look good even with all the camouflage on them. The 3er GT works/flows much better than the 5er GT. I think.
Also BMW has released fotos of the 3er GT with M-pack spoiler and dam if it doesn't look GOOD! Here are some pics... ![]()

Actually, I see the GT as the most practical of the three. Extra legroom is a huge benefit for people looking for a family car. Front headroom and higher seating position are useful too (I feel like this could be the first BMW non-SUV where I'll feel like a human - I'm 6'6"). And cargo space is going to be a wash: sometimes the square shape of the wagon is more useful, other times you really want that extra floor area that GT has.
