F30 335i xDrive MPG
Averaging 22.4 mpg after 5,400 miles on the F30 335i xDrive. Expect to see better mpg once I switch back to the OEM summer tires. It's difficult to gage due to the change on fuel blend between winter and summer seasons. I'm not sure if the mpg difference is the result of fuel blend changes or the seasonal tire changes.
I suppose 22.4 mpg is not too bad. I was hoping it would get closer to 25 mpg. But given the balance between 6 cylinders and available power, it's not too shabby. |

80% city, 20% hway, have owned it since late Dec, 22.6mpg. I am still wearing my summers and 1800 miles on it. No complaints here, it should get better as the car breaks in and we switch from winter gas

It's such a hodge-podge blend of mixed driving that its difficult to estimate. Somedays it's a combination of mixed local driving and other days flying down the autobahn in excess of triple digits. Actually the low mpg where it dips down to 18 mpg is when I was pushing it to the limits for several hours I might add. Germany. Gotta love it.

Nice!. Timing of this post is great because just yesterday I was comparing the Cost & MPGs of 328i, 335i and ActiveHybrid 3. The EPA MPGs are 34, 33 and 33 (all HWY). I just drove E84 X1 x28i M Sport from South Carolina to New Jersey (705 miles- 95% hwy) we recorded getting 28.6 mpg (EPA 33).

Averaging 23.1 mpg after 700 miles. Mostly city (70/30 city/hwy). About 50 comfort/35 Eco Pro/15 Sport. Will only get worse after break-in period and I starting driving exclusively in Sport mode.

I do about 90% highway and through 2800 miles so far, its been pinned at 25.9 mpg pretty constantly. Not sure my exact average mph, but figure average 75 highway, varied local. I drive in sport all the time, but configured my Sport to chassis only so it doesn't rev so high when I don't need it to. Still have Sport + for that..
