Yes, you are driving the current "standard" ...I'm sure Dinan or someone will come out with a thicker one.

Real question I guess for everyone is there something the current sway bar isn't doing for you? Has everyone pushed the car to the extreme limits?

Too much body roll.

It's not that bad.

I know springs will not cure it.

It will need a beefier rear sway bar.

Where's the beef.

You should drive my digs bro, body roll has gone down SIGNIFICANTLY with the new struts.

I might have to lol.

I also have been on my winter 17s with 45 series tires for awhile. My 19s will have a better gauge as to where the car is at.

My 18s will have a better gauge

You have no idea how annoying it is to sit and stare at them every time I pull into the garage, and wait for this bloody snow to melt.

I've been waiting to do a shoot!!

Umm yeah, I do.

I waited 8 weeks for my Forgestar build, now I have them, the tires, the sensors, but watch each day pass debating putting on them despite the weather.

Its also so early that potholes have not been fixed yet.

Would a 28mm sway bar (rear) be perfect for the F30?

I had a head to head with a Volvo max was 140mph. Body roll yes.

I keep my eye on this forum waiting for cool stuff to hit the f30 market... but it's been suprisingly slow.

Any ideas why that is? I haven't had the chance to test drive one but I want to- there seems to be no downside of the new car- especially the 328.

I agree on all points - the F30 328i has a ton of unaddressed aftermarket potential. I don't get why the market is being so slow on this platform...

Are the sway bars that are included in the M Performance suspension kit the same as the ones included in the factory sports package (M-Sport, Sport +) for the f30?

First post, apologize if its a newbie question....

This F30 sport suspension does have more body roll.
But that's not always a bad thing as it can help give more grip in a tight turn with the added weight transfer.

I don't track so I haven't "pushed" it in that sense.
I've pushed it on some regular roads like on nicely curved entrance ramps.
For me the car sticks nicely.
And when I set the adaptive dampers to sport there is less body roll.

My issue is the overall "looser/softer" feel of the suspension like the car is riding on softer rate springs and/or softer bushings all around.
That coupled with the softer, not as crisp, steering makes my Msport feel a good bit softer than my 135i and E46 325i sport.
The steering and chassis just felt tighter on both of those cars.
My Msport feels like there is a layer of marshmallow in the set up.
Maybe firmer bushings?

I'm still considering getting the M Performance springs to use them with the adaptive dampers.
I may end up doing that in the next couple of months.
For me I think that will give me what I want.
