M-Sport Spoiler pre-install

So, we've all seen what the F30 M-Sport rear spoiler looks like in it's matte black unpainted form as well as a bunch of body colors but has anyone else custom painted one?

Here is a teaser shot of mine pre-install, planning to install it thursday and will update with more pics. Thoughts?

Matte clear black with Gloss EBII lip:

I get what you're saying and it DOES look kinda strange until you lay it on the trunk then it makes sense

In European Car Magazine there is a white 5 series that has this similar paint scheme on the spoiler. I thought it looked really nice. It had some flat black on the top and bottom and the outer lip is white, similar to yours. Looking forward to seeing the pics.

I think it makes perfect sense. Kindof like the old M-Technic pieces on the E30's and E28's, but in reverse. Those had painted tops and rubber edges.

OK, just installed the spoiler and here are the best pics I could get with my iphone in the BLAZINGLY bright Arizona sun! (and for some reason the forum rotates the pics when the are uploaded and I don't have time at the moment to fix them)

I actually got the idea looking at the M3 CRT's spoiler that is Carbon Fiber with Red accent and thought it would look cool if I did it in matte black and blue..

I'm really happy with the result, it's pretty sick looking but not in an"in your face kinda way." If I head to the AZ Meet-up tomorrow, ill get some more pics

Thanks! I try to do my own thing as much as possible. Trick here is avoiding body shops and dealers, hit your local Harley Dealer, they generally do great work at reasonable prices and fast!
