Exactly, the 6series GC roof line is lower (or at least give me that impression) and makes the appearance of the car stand out much more against its coupe sibling. This looks more like a Audi A5 to A5 Sportback transformation just extend the roofline a bit to add a door.

The last picture puts the 5door/hatch rumor to bed. You can clearly see the rear light (window) is fixed, with a separate trunk.

The roofline seems to be a bit Audi A7ish. If there was an M4 Gran Coupe I'd definitely be interested or if the 4 series Gran Coupe had significantly more power than an F30 335i.

You would think BMW fans would embrace an additional model, but we almost need a separate thread for all of the 'a 4GC is a dumb idea' or 'what is the point' posts.

So the 4 series is replacing the 2door 3 series making it the new 2door version of the 3 series and the 4 series GC is the 4door version of the 4 series, but the 4 series GC is not the same as the 4door 3 series which means that while the 4 series is a 2door version of the 3 series, the 3 series is not the 4door version of the 4 series, because well, that would just be silly... and then there's the 3 series GT.

PS: I 'm not against the concept of a 4 doors coupe, I think the 6GC is great but, for god sake, the 5 and the 6 are two different cars, with different interiors and exteriors, so its simple to choose which...but 3 and 4 are almost identical!!!! And what's even worse BMW didn't do any single little effort to at least give some different color options for exterior and interior, just to make us, maybe, take a decision based on different options.... Hideous as is the coupe. Coupe Looks good only in M sport guise. Glad I went with the Cayman over this glorified f30 with 2 less doors.
