Alpine White M-Performance build thread - 20" BBS LM, KW V2
Just want to thank everyone for following my build thread and to let everyone know that the lease of my beloved F30 has come to an end. It was so much fun while it lasted. Gonna miss her dearly. It was so sad to see her parted out and returned to the dealer. But as they say, on to the next adventure - 2016 F36!
Here are a few snaps from Bimmerfest right before she went back. The last mod I did was polish the lips of my LM's. Some new snaps by the very talented Jmeas! Check his page out on facebook: https://www.facebook.com/jmeasphotography Here is my alpine white F30 335i M-Sport build thread. Getting my Porterfield R4S brake pads installed at Platte Forme AG. Best techs around in SoCal. Twin F30's up in the air! Got my roof wrapped today. Loving the look! Thanks to Impressive Wrap in El Monte! New white and gold caps from BBS USA! Just in time for Bimmerfest. Got a new front plate! So happy to remove the ugly California plate. Current mod list: - BBS LM 20x8.5 et32, 20x9.5 et37 - LM229, LM230 - Michelin Pilot Super Sport 235/35/20, 265/30/20 - KW coilover variant 2 - M Performance Power Kit (PPK) - M Performance exhaust (V1) - M Performance brake kit (yellow) - M Performance front lip - M Performance rocker panel attachments - M Performance side skirt vinyl - M Performance rear diffuser - M Performance black kidney grilles - M Performance carbon fiber rear lip - M Performance carbon fiber mirror caps - M Performance carbon fiber interior trim - M Performance carbon fiber lever - M Performance carbon fiber e-brake - M Performance floor mats - M Performance front plate - Pinnacle F1 ceramic tint - Opticoat car + wheels - IND color matched side reflectors - Philips silvervision turn signal bulbs - McGard chrome 2 piece lug bolts - Porterfield R4S brake pads - Front and rear A few more shots at dusk. Photos of the progression: After KW V2 and Macht Schnell spacers - 12mm front/15mm rear. After BBS LMs in 20, Michelin Pilot Super Sports, M Performance exhaust, rear diffuser, and M Performance brakes in yellow. Getting new version of KW V2 installed at Mod Bargains. Start of phase 3: At LTMW getting ready for the M Performance front lip and rocker panel attachments. Parked next to a pair of Liberty Walk M3's getting prepped for SEMA. Raised the car a little higher now because of the lip. As a daily driver, the front splitter makes it a challenge but the car looks so much more aggressive now. A couple quick snaps in Santa Monica with my M Perf carbon fiber mirror caps, spoiler, and vinyl. Across the street from JNLBC's place while they were installing the front lip on Hansolo1019's car. After going back and forth, finally decided I like it without the vinyl. Thanks for helping me make up my mind JNLBC and Hansolo1019 and thanks for the pic! At EAS getting my coils lowered by another 1/4" after they settled and getting an alignment. That E93 M3 is a beast. ESS Supercharged with 550HP to the wheels. Side profile at new height and without the M Performance vinyl strip. On the way home from SEMA 2013. We had a full car so the car looks pretty slammed. So after driving the car for a couple of weeks without the vinyl, I kind of missed it. It definitely looks cleaner without it, but since I have the full kit, just felt more complete with it back on. My first rolling shot in the F30! Switched out to the red and gold BBS center caps. Not really feeling it. The red looks a bit off without red brakes. Going back to the black and gold caps shortly. Black BBS caps are back on!

Thanks guys!!!
Yeah, I keep going back and forth actually too. The stock m-sport bumper just looks so clean. The black splitter does make it look more aggressive which I love, but I'm going to have to raise the car up a bit if I get it installed. Too much of a headache to deal with as a daily driver.

It's the 20x8.5 ET32 and 20x9.5 ET37. The Studie Japan car has the 20x10 ET45 and the width/offset combo yields a slightly smaller outer lip than the 9.5 ET37.

Haha, thanks frenchfries! I really wish I could. Ruins the beautiful bumper for sure. I'm in West Los Angeles a lot and I'd be getting a ticket every other day for plates.

Whoa say what?!?! But your HRE's look incredible!! Someone's going to score big!!!
I love 1 piece forged wheels for their strength and weight, but with everyone doing that these days, I started longing for days gone by of bolts and step lips.

Looks great! Especially after seeing it in person, and I have to reiterate the current ride height is on point.

Thanks bud! Yeah, I agree, I'm really liking the ride height where it's at now. Was afraid it was a little too low for me, but the more I drive it, the more I'm getting used to it.
