"M435i"?
In the 2-series forum there is a thread on whether the M235i will continue after the M2 is introduced, or will it "drop" to being just a 235i. It made me wonder is the following option group a DIY M435i?:
Are those the ingredients for an "M435i"? [without the badging, of course] |

There are no 'ingredients' for an M435i, what exactly is your intent? If your intent is to have a 435i with the options you like.... then go for it.
The M235i name already doesn't make sense. I like the car, but personally if I got one I would definitely de-badge it. Do what makes you happy though brother, that is just my opinion. Also at that price point I would be way more interested in an M4. |

You certainly could. But once you start pushing 60k with a "sporty" 435i config an M4 even in base/stripped configuration starts to look pretty attractive at 66k.

The M235i has some bespoke suspension options, so a 435i, however specified won't be the same thing.
When you drive the M235i you realise why some are saying it's the best car BMW currently make. |

What is an M235i suspension option that 435i cannot have?

Pretty much. I think it's even faster than the M235i (to 60 at least)

Based on BMW's officially listed weights, the MPPK 435i has a better power-to-weight ratio than the M235i. The weight handicap of the 4-series is way less than the size difference would indicate.

M435i would be tits. I would skip the DHP though. The M sport package comes with the suspension upgrade if I'm not mistaken, and I simply don't like the steering change - but then, I'm not the most experienced with driving it and have no clue how much of a difference it actually makes or anything. Feel free to clue me in, but those upgrades of the MPPK and M performance exhaust are two things I'm going to be doing anyway along with the CF spoiler, blacked out kidney grills, and color matched reflectors.
