Do you mean that when the car is updated to latest software you cannot code anymore?
I hope that is not the case...
I need to confirm what version software my car is on atm...
Just got my '14 F30 last week Friday, not sure if the dealer updated the software to latest or not

As it stands now, that is pretty much the case.

I've been having some fun coding my car. I've coded most things that I want to change - thanks for the help on this forum.

I'm wondering if a few things are possible (though I hold little hope on these 3)

1. Is is possible to turn off the dual zone air-con (I'm usually driving alone, so dual zone is a PITA, I would prefer to always have both sides synchronised)

2. Can you code so that the auxillary power sockets turn off when the door is opened (same as I coded the nav screen) and also code to have the aux sockets only turn on when the ignition is turned on?

3. I think it's pretty useless showing the long term fuel consumption in the dash display. Is it possible to display the fuel consumption from the current journey in the BC display instead.

Thanks
David

I hope to code my f36 which I will receive later this week...

Esys for coding my F31

Dear Shawn Sheridan!

Can you please also send me the link for E-sys and all necessary other data for coding?

Is there a list for checking which I-Level I got?

The problem I think is that I do not have E-Sys for checking I suppose...

Thanks in advance!

You can try 54.1, but if you car got 55.0, and it likely did, you are screwed as there is no working version of 55.0 PSdZData due to BMW AG's Trimming of PSdZData CAFD files.

PM sent.

Sirksael what is the build date of your car? My F36 was built Nov 2014 (purchased Dec 2014) but it had PSdZData version < 55.0

Ok, my F10 LCi 520d has just been updated to I-Level F010-15-03-501 after the replacement of left adaptive headlight.
So, i'm gonna check which ecus have CAFD upadated and which not.
For the NBT miss the CAFD_0000DED_003_014_012
I will try later to check all the remaining ecus and post results...

I know it's technically possible to change 6nh to 6nk even if you don't have commbox, but is there any benefits such as album art?
Does album art work for MP3's played back from a USB stick?

Thanks

I ordered it in January and I'm getting it next week, and it is built to order. So I'm guessing it's going to be 55.0. I'll confirm once I get the car and cable.

You will not get Album Art without a Combox.

So, my car was programmed with I-Step (Level) 15-03-501.
I try to code it with psdzdata v54 but misses some cafd files.
So i downloaded the 55 package and i understand what Shawnsheridan intends for "...due to BMW AG's Trimming of PSdZData CAFD files"......
I post the picture, showing that.

However, on my car there are some ecus that are not affected by 15-03-501 (v55 psdzdata package) upgrade and i was able to code with v54 psdzdata package (Esys 3.26.1)
Here the list (unfortunately very short...):
- FRM CAFD_0000106D_013_012_012
- FZD CAFD_00000552_001_031_001

Now the question is to find a working version of cafd files for the others ecus....
