Taken with a point and click camera. This little guy ran up onto the rock to watch me go by in my Jeep, so I stopped, got the camera, and "pointed and clicked"; it turned out pretty good:

None...I wanted a grittier shot, so I added sharpening, cropped, and removed some artifacts.

Thanks. That was my first semi ambitious PS project as well.

Looks like a fun day! Except for the being chased by a tiger part.
It was a very fun day, the lemurs were a lot of fun to be around. We also got to hang with 2 wolf 7 month old pups. They were a bit skittish at first, but warmed up after some treats. The tiger was in his pen, but the guide would ask me to go at one end and hide, Taj would come look for me and then I'd sprint to the other end. He might have broke out into a mild jog to catch me. The size and speed is unreal. Paw the size of both fists put together. Truly beautiful animal. Got to pet him through the fence and he would purr.

Going to go back sometime in the spring.

Nice highway shot. The grain elevator reminds me of stretches of Route 66 in West Texas and Oklahoma.

Yes, very similar. This is the old highway you would have taken from the Bay Area up to Oregon in the days before I-5. Still acres of nut trees and crops all through this area, which is why it still attracts millions of migrating birds.

Thirty-minutes Before Sunset

Before Sunset by David Stephens, on Flickr

I was hoping for the sun to peak through between the mountains and clouds and up under the clouds, but the clouds shut in at sunset, making it just okay.

Thanks Mark. I'm always amazed when I see these mass liftoffs that they seem to be able to keep enough separation to not clobber each other.
