Hello from Seoul, S.Korea

Greetings, from South Korea!

I'm getting back into the whole bimmerpost thing

Originally, I was driving E92 335i JB back when I was in Toronto Canada.

Now I'm picking up F30 328i AW next week in Seoul!

It's a shame how it's harder to get your hands on x35is in Korea since everyone's just bunch of badge whore here

the best I could do was getting a 328i without paying M3 pricetag for a 435i.

If there is any member here driving a bimmer in Korea

Please reply here or shoot me a PM!

for everyone else in looking at this Asian forum, WELCOME ME!!

Welcome back to BMW, hard to leave a BMW once you've tried it. Congratulations on your new car.

Hello!

Good to see we have a few members from Korea!

I am in Korea as well. I have a MY14 335i on order and I should be picking it up in March. Pretty excited and really looking forward to it. If you see an AW 335i M Sport... that's me and I am not badge whoring!!!

I hope to see you around in Seoul!

A lot has changed - there are BMWs, Audis, MBs, and Jags everywhere. Because of recent trade agreements, it is now cheaper to buy some BMWs compared to Kias. The market here for A6/A7s is ridiculously huge!

Come to Malaysia and u will be amazed too. 5-6 years ago, mainly only 5/7 series or E/S class being driven by businessman. Now there are so many other segments booming in Malaysia. Mind you, a base 318i Luxury cost $46k.

Welcome back to BMW. I'm in Pyeongtaek. Lots of 3 and 5 series on the road here. Though, my F32 is pretty unique still.

I think that's mainly because of the growth of the CKD (local assembly) sector which substantially reduces excise taxes.

Still, the local partner assembles a very limited range of models.
