I've done over 14k with mine and its pretty much as it was when new. I brush it and wipe it with a damp microfibre every couple of months and that seems to keep it looking and feeling good. I'm more conscious of what is on my hands now but only because it feels so good that you want to keep it nice.

I have an alcantara one in my Boxster done by Royal that's a couple of years old and looks and feels perfect to me.
The previous owner got it done with the centre console lid to match the GT3 gearstick/handbrake... looks awesome! Makes me want to get the seats re-upholstered in the same.

They take around two weeks to trim the steering and it's a swap option with deposit and they have good repo so wouldn't be problem . You getting white stitched or red/blue like M4 steering ? I am sure I should have few quids left after I come back from Dubai so will be ordering whole Alcantra interior |

To keep on-thread, I had the wheel done in Alcantara too and it stood up to my harsh abuse very well indeed. Took a little bit more care than a leather wheel but as with everything, prevention is better than cure (which is about the only thing I looked after on that awesome car)....if it was a dog, you would have shot it just to be kind. I have the M Sport Perf Display Wheel II in the F32 and so far (only about 500 miles with it), its still pristine. I bought some RaceGlaze cleaner on advice from Morasool but haven't needed to use it yet. I do find that I make sure my hands are like a surgeons before fondling it though.... |

And the rest of my interior trim: http://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...hlight=Wrapped Thanks for the heads up on different Alcantara colours, I didn't realise there was that choice too! What colour is the genuine MP wheel? |
