My car is a year old with 10k miles on the clock and it says I have 50k left on the front and 60k on the rears. That is some serious brake life if it is accurate

This is so dependent on how you drive. If you live in a cold climate and have the DTC going a lot in the snow then you will wear the rear pads disproportionately fast! ?

Currently on original pads and rotors at 56,000 miles. Fronts and rears both report about 13k left and I drive her pretty hard. Stock 328i F31 brakes. I was able to get a discount on the maintenance contract from BMW for an additional year/25k miles for about $900, which is cheaper than getting fronts and rears done even at my indie shop, so I went that route. Basically pre-paid $900 for front and rear pads and rotors, threeish oil changes, a brake fluid flush, and some air filters and wiper blades.
