I have a 2018 440i and I cannot seem to get Album Artwork working over bluetooth Audio.

I have tried coding to 6NS and 6NW (Car was originally 6NH)
I verified that HU_NBT => ENT_BTAS_IAP_COVERART = aktiv
Album Art DOES work with USB
Using a Samsung Galaxy S7, i tried the Google Play Music app and the Samsung Music app
I tried deleting the phone and pairing again

all of the other EBT functions work great, including text messages/email and voice commands. any help is appreciated.

6NS is for HU_NBT
6NW is for HU_NBT2 (AKA HU_NBT_EVO)

Your 2018 should have ID5.

If you have office messages, then coded correctly.

Yeah, I changed from 6NS to 6NW based on other recommendations (since esys shows HU_NBT2), but it didn't change anything. I had all of the office functions with 6NS as well.

I have iDrive 6. I'm not sure if that changes anything?

Cover art may just not be supported with connection mode, media source, or phone.

Definitely thanks for your time here helping us on the board.

I've got my unlock/lock convenience features, taillight DRL, and other little things I've fixed to my liking. Don't regret getting an F30 one bit.

One thing I've found is that I'm stuck with the 6NL w/Nav package. So I'm stuck with the CIC. Don't think there's a way of going NBT without doing some serious wire routing I'm guessing (don't care for touch controls).

But thanks again! This is gonna make it much easier to throw in a 6WB, LCI taillights, and m-sport steering later on.
