This is true for the 3 series sedan. However, Variable Sport Steering was dropped as an option for the 2018 3 series Gran Turismo. Response from BMW Genius below:

"The 2018 BMW 340i xDrive Gran Turismo does not offer Variable Sport Steering for this model year.* This option was removed for the 2018 model year for the United States market.* The 2017 BMW 340i xDrive Gran Turismo was the last model year to offer this option.* We regret any disappointment this may cause."

Yes! Just ordered a loaded 2018 340i GT in estoril blue with oyster interior today... Sadly without variable sport steering. See my post above...

But I am looking forward to the digital display!

M-Sport on the 330i went from $3,000 to $4,750?

I hope that's a typo because only the combined ZMP+ZTR cost anything like that ($4,700 together) in 2017!

Also, a (330i, again) $1,500 **hike* in base price seems rather steep for an outgoing model...

Funny thing, that VSS.

When I optioned a 2017 330i the way I wanted it, M-Sport (or something else in my build, see attached) somehow brought the VSS (don't want) *without* Track Package (ditto) or even just Adaptive M (ditto).

Now I'm waiting for the 2018 "build-your-own" tool to go live so I can see if that is just another configurator hiccup..

played with the configurator a bit. where the F is the non-run flat option?

I hate this premium tier/executive tier bullshit.

What is up with the tiers? I don't see them on the order guide. And where is the track handling package?

Their US configurator always seems like it's a beta test site, ya know? Don't they ever review this shite prior to putting it out in the public? Or they just don't care?

Seems the only reliable way to do it is via the order guide...

The online config is usually accurate just about when it's time for the new model... lol

No full leather dash option anymore..... Ever since I saw that in my friend's F80 I have been sad looking at my lowly plastic dashboard.

BMW 3 series

Talking about BMW 3 series, you can expect top-notch comfort level. Buying this car from a BMW authorized dealer may also get you a few free servicing of the car.

Looks like the Track Handling Package is only available on the 320i this year, which doesn't make any sense. If they offered it on the 340, I might order one with all the crazy discounts going on now.

That's insane. Once again, I don't understand how the order guide and website are so different.
