My first compliment in the 340i

I know this may not seem as a big deal but having had the car for the last month and with no one giving it a second look as it's de-badged I got my first compliment this evening.

I was coming out of a car park and a TT told me to go round which I did and he followed me, the car park comes out to a tunnel and well you have to give it the beans in a tunnel. Which at the next traffic lights this guy pulled up against me in his TT with a bit of a shocked face and straight away asked 'what the hell is thst' which I said a 340i and he gave me lots of compliments about it.

So I'm feeling really happy and smug about it which is nice as i never thought I would get any comments like that buy it was lovely and well thought I'd share it.

I've shocked a couple of people with my 440i as it's also debadged. I guess they expect it to be a lower powered bmw if there's no badges lol.

I might go for a 318i and surprise them even more haha.

One thing that i do wish for is more pops and bangs but I know what's coming but I just can't afford £1800 at the moment with a wedding to pay for so will have to wait. I will keep an eye out on the classifieds though as I don't think it needs anymore power just pops.

I must be getting old, I’d really rather not have attention like this, I’d much rather just blend in and no one pay any extra attention to my car! Just me?

You need that MPPSK

It makes the x40i sound awesome better than an standard M3/M4

Ordered an MPPSK from the local dealer today to be done when the winter wheels go into hibernation.
