Circuit Werks N26 Downpipe

I bought a circuit sports (same brand) turbo elbow for another car many years ago. The welds looked fantastic, like a perfect stack of dimes; very even and neat and with nice heat coloration. Quality looked excellent. Unfortunately, the bolt holes were about 1/4" off and it would not bolt up properly. I threw it away and have since stayed away from cheaper alternatives for certain items.

Very interesting how they could get certain quality elements down pat but miss on crucial items like bolt holes? Pretty disappointing.

For something as simple as a charge pipe / down pipe that is little more than a hollow tube... Im trying to find the most cost effective solution that actually fits perfectly, as it should.

What are the options other that this one and VRSF?

ER and wagner evo but those are $400

ER and VRSF are the best choices here IMO. I have an ER personally and love it. No issues installing. I have buddies who also have the VRSF and same results.

+1 on the VRSF. They guys are awesome both for product quality and customer service.

Your getting ripped off, more then likely your get a cheap downpipe made in china .

Ive read on a group chat on Facebook that they are releasing a version 2 of the downpipe, that was about 2 weeks ago. I believe that they are also coming out with an full exhuast system.

Any updates on this DP / anyone else have it installed on their N26 ?

Mixed reviews on fitment which is confusing. It either fits well or it doesn't, theres no in between.

Im looking for someone who definitely got a genuine product shipped from Plano, Texas and also has an N26 motor.

If you got yours elsewhere or have an N20 please don't respond.

The mixed fitment reviews do make sense actually, and it can be attributed to inconsistent manufacturing, not uncommon for cheap products like this. I can't attest, because I don't have a circuitwerks DP, but that's my take on the mixed reviews, FWIW.

Good point. Im on the verge of ordering one just to try it for the group.

I did get a response this morning from Circuit Werks (to my fitment question)...

They said that they have sold dozens of them without any fitment issues. Hopefully they wouldnt deceive a customer to sell a $160 part just to waste the time of shipping it out, install, uninstall, return shipping, refund...

But then again, stranger things have happened!

Can't hurt to try! We'd love to hear your input. Just make sure they accept returns and will give you a full refund in case it doesn't work out. With DP's, it's really just a hollow pipe, so as long as it fits and the metal work is good, price is really the only determining factor IMO.

Ship out of a town pretty close to where I went to high school lol. If the quality and fitment are on point, that'll be a good addition to our list for selection.

they also working on an exhuast last time I heard.
