Has anyone tried Bridgestone driveguard? It doesn't have the XL rating not sure if that's a problem.

I put DWS06 on my e90 (sport package and bilsteins)
Will never make that mistake again. Tire is more comfortable, sure, but also so much softer it really takes away from the handling: mushy, slow, and more pronounced body roll when pushing the car. Almost scary in emergency maneuvering. Normal driving it's....normal. Had Michelin AS3s and really miss them but they did ride harder. If a softer suspension on a car (F34?) is designed and working well with runflats, DO NOT get DWS06. They are far too soft. |

I am on my 3th set of DWS06 on my E90 335d. They are superior to the Continental RF tires. I inflate the DWS06 to the pressure for +100mph speed, which is about 4 psi higher than regular pressure. In my every day driving, I do not feel the handling mushy.

I currently have a square setup with 225/50r18 RFTs and was wondering if changing to 245/45r18 would be safe in a non-xdrive f34 in a square setup? Reasons being lower cost, more options and easier availability in non-RFTs.

Also interested in going to a 245/45R18 on an 18x8 rim. Any concern with rubbing or other issues on a 2014 328i x-drive GT? I'm looking at non-runflats - Michelin Pilot AS3+

I also switched the summer performance tires that came with the car for Michelin Pilot A/S 3 (asymetric set available for the Sport Line). MUCH better grip under wet conditions in the Fall, and will also handle light snow or frost, unlike the summer tires, which have zero adherence under such conditions. Have driven them for almost 4 years, very happy, and will replace with the same when the time comes!
