I had really good luck with the Rustoleum Rock Solid line of floor coating. Years later it still looks as good as new.

I really liked the anti slip burst particle additives. Only downside is that the SQ footage is significantly overestimated. I was however able to get Rustoleum to compensate me for an extra case (needed 3 even though 2 should have been sufficient.

You will be nowhere near 3 to 5 grand. Look into speedway which use to be called raceway and call them, they gave me a different price when I called. The floors been indestructible and I did 500 square feet for 1100. Their product is amazing. It won't stain and cleans so easy. You can use their online configure tool to design floor too.

No - the interlocks are so tight you have to use a rubber hammer to flatten everything out as you join the tiles. When the cars come in from rainy weather, the water stands on top of the rubber tiles until I mop it up.

Wow you are right! Cool and thanks.
Looks like a couple of different products on amazon, with Speedway being one of the cheapest and others going up from there.

Currently in the process of fixing my garage floor as well. The previous owner painted it with some shitty latex based paint that has been a nightmare to remove. The concrete itself is in bad shape, pitted but not cracking. I'm going to remove the shitty paint and re-surface it with Sakrete Flo-Coat. Once dry I'll acid etch the surface and seal it with an epoxy paint with some purdy decorative flakes

I wish I had a garage at my house, but it isn't possible in the area I live.

I do however have in my driveway a 7'x12.5' foot race trailer with a BMW S1000RR living in it, just waiting to stretch it's legs on the track.

I put rubber flooring down in it, purchased at Home Depot I think in a 5 foot wide roll. Very affordable and durable, so far. It does want to bubble if it gets super hot, and can get a little slippery if it gets oiled down.

I looked at the plastic or rubber floor panels and this was the easiest, quickest and cheapest solution.

I just finished spray washing all the road dirt out of my garage today. I think plain concrete floor is fine.

With the plastic tiles how do you get it flush up against the wall if the full tile leaves a space between the last tile and the wall?

You need to cut them. It's easy though. You make cuts on both sides of the garage

I just cut the tiles on my table saw. If you have a plain old circular saw or jigsaw those would work too.

That's correct. They lock into place. No gluing needed.

I had mine professionally epoxied last year and I absolutely love it. I have a standard 2-car garage and if I recall, paid something like $1,800 with a lifetime warranty If anything happens, at all, they come out and take care of it. So far, it's still perfect. Just sweep it every couple months, swiffer it, and it looks like brand new. Everyone that sees it is wowed and there's no doubt it adds to the resale value.

I also installed a Gladiator storage system and between those two upgrades, the garage has truly become another nice, usable room of our home versus a place you want to get out of quickly as soon as you step out of your car.

There is one major downfall, however - it's as slippery as hell when it's wet. I've almost killed myself a handful of times. We're extremely careful now when walking on it after the cars have recently been brought in after a rain.

I also replaced my original nos carpet https://10carbest.com/best-garage-floor-mats with lebaron several years ago it was near perfect fit all I had to do was install the snaps which was pretty simple. Seems to me the cost was reasonable.

With these tiles, like ceramic tiles in the house, start in the center and work out. When you get to the edge, it should be equal spaced on all sides, so any cuts would be at the edge.

Epoxy floors will probably last you the longest out of any of the other options. It's also super easy to clean up and looks new when you do. I haven't been able to stain it at all. My oil pan's drain wasn't fully open and it overflowed about 2 quarts of oil on my floor. it was really easy to clean up with some towels and degreaser.

I personally like working on the surface as well. It's not damaged by my floor jack or jack stands and is a nice stable surface.

I used these guys twice, easy to clean and very durable with a lifetime warranty. And it’s not slippery when wet.
