So I'm experimenting on making some updates to my wheels. I bought the plasti dip anthracite metalizer spray to coat the silver part of the wheel spokes. So far, I love the results but it's a pain in the ass to do this properly. This won't be the final result but definitely looks much better than the original silver. See the difference in the wheel colors. I'll be removing and reapplying when I have the time and patience.

Sweet ride you have there! It definitely is. For the silver, I suggest to try that anthracite or silver metalizer. After that, add a couple of coats of glossifier. Keep me posted on what you decide to do. I'd like to check it out!

Got mine finally painted last weekend. I tried plastic dip but I didn't like the outcome and there is to much work to be able to remove the tape and not mess the paint. SO I went I did it with real paint. I sanded all the silver part and used dupli color wheel coating and the gloss clear coat. Better result less work. Here are some pic, they are dirty because the rain here in Florida.

guys, there is a vendor that supplies them with the ferric gray/machined look. I looked into this last year when i was thinking of getting wheels. Do a forum search for user "platty" i believe he had them.

We already have the black and I didn't like the gray ones back then.

Yes, I've seen that guy's thread. It's still not my fav look. I prefer the black/Ferric grey. Overall, I think I'll dip it on my own. Thanks for the heads up.

Best suggestion would be to get a good roadside assistance service either through AAA or your insurance company. Rim damage is always a risk, but good thing is that they're reparable and not too expensive to replace if needed. Good luck!

Hallo everyone,
I am considering a change of wheels for my F32 (435i Xdrive). I am strongly thinking of the M437 wheels. Has anybody seen (LIVE) the 20' (replica) variant of these wheels? In Europe I can get them in the following specs: 8.5J 38 ET Front 9.5J 45 ET Rear Just wanted to hear your thoughts. I would like to stay with 20ies since I got used to this since I have the BMW Styling 660 wheels. |

Thank you for this, I ended up getting the same wheels. Your car being similar to mine in color made my decision easier. Will be putting them on in a week !! |
